I love this speaker for my golf tunes. I don't like it so loud you can't talk to the other group without getting out of the cart or pausing the music, but this thing gets pretty loud for its size. It won't compete with the volume levels of the larger mega speakers, but the quality sounds good to me and it fits easily in my bag, has a relatively rugged shell and built in strap. It fits in a cupholder or ball storage in the cart, but I usually hang it on my golf bag so I can easily talk to my cart partner. It's easy to turn on & off, pairing is a breeze and has simple touch controls for changing volume or skipping a song. Sometimes it's easier to do those functions on the speaker rather than having to grab the phone. I would recommend this if the details I mentioned appeal to you. It checks all the boxes for me.

It's cute, it's compact, it's intuitive, and it sounds great! You can believe all of the other reviews on those fronts. The reason this speaker gets a resounding 5 stars from me is because I've had it for 3 years now and today I realized I hadn't seen it in a long time. So I searched my whole house. And then I searched again. And then I searched my yard...and there it was, hanging on a fence post where I had left it...last fall!

That's right my friends. This tough little speaker spent a winter (that included several snows) and much of a rainy spring outside. I brought it in, cleaned it up a little, plugged it into charge, and now I'm listening to it sound as good as ever. Frankly I'm astonished. Kudos JBL for making a reasonably priced, quality product. If this thing ever does fail, I will definitely be buying another.
